Tic-Tak Taxis are a recently-established partnership of Buxton’s leading Taxi Drivers whose aim is to provide the ultimate Hackney Carriage and Private Hire service.

We provide Taxi services around the clock and have a fleet of vehicles suitable for all types of journeys. We are an essential part of the local transport system providing not only for the local populations day to day taxi requirements but also Special Needs Passengers, School Transport and Airport Runs.

We are now looking to take on more drivers to join our ever-growing team. With increased workload and local demand, there is now excellent earning potential. Driving for us can suit those looking for full time, part-time work, flexible working hours and is also ideal for retirees. We regret that due to Local Council licencing regulations and Insurance restrictions, we are unable to offer a position to anyone who has not held a full UK licence for a full year and who is under the age of 25

We can offer an immediate start for those with a High Peak Badge. For those not holding a badge, full training will be provided and financial assistance is also available to assist in the process of obtaining their licences.

Our drivers are self-employed contractors. They are licenced Hackney/Private Hire drivers and carry out duties in the High Peak and surrounding areas. As a Hackney Carriage Driver, they are able to stand on Council Ranks and accept work without pre-arranged bookings when available.

We are a busy company with a large loyal customer base and our drivers have plenty of work.

Our vehicles are well maintained and spare cars are available to ensure that drivers always have maximum earning potential even if their usual car is off the road.

Successful applicants will be of a smart, clean appearance and will have excellent customer service skills.
